Short Term Rental Town Hall

New Buffalo Township will be holding a Town Hall on Monday, November 9th, at 6:00 p.m. at the Public Safety Building, located at 18959 US-12. The purpose of this meeting is to hear from residents and the public regarding short-term rentals (STRs), including their thoughts, concerns, and opinions on how STRs should be addressed moving forward. We encourage everyone to attend and share their input as the Township considers possible changes to its current regulations.

On October 26th, the Township Board adopted a 12-month moratorium on short-term rentals (STRs). A copy of the moratorium ordinance can be found here.
