Homeowner Rehabilitation Program Funding

The Berrien County Land Bank Authority plans to request the release of federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds through MSHDA to support essential home repairs for income-eligible homeowners in Berrien County.

The program will provide up to $40,000 per household for qualifying repairs to owner-occupied single-family homes for households earning 80% or less of the area median income.

An Environmental Review Record (ERR) is available for public review at the Berrien County Land Bank Authority, 701 Main St., St. Joseph, weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Public comments will be accepted through July 7, 2026, before the request for release of funds is submitted.
