The purpose of the rental licensing ordinance is to ensure that buildings to be used as a rentals have been maintained and are safe for use as a rental unit. The required inspection ensures that required safety systems are in place and have been serviced. The rental license must be obtained prior to any rental of the property. The license fee is $500.00. License issued under this ordinance shall be effective from the date of approval for a period of 36 months. Rentals must comply with all township ordinances which include noise, dust, litter, odor, burning, and solid waste collection ordinances. Solid waste pick-up is required for the entire year.

Applications are now available at the Building & Zoning Department.
